Web and Workflow

Web and Workflow is the integration of web applications and backend processing workflow applications that provide for business relationships and transactions to be maintained on an open platform such as an Internet Web Site.

The primary objective of a web and workflow system is to integrate the communication, documentation and resources involved in a business transaction into a congruent picture that provides access to all parties involved in a given enterprise with scopes that are appropriate to their position with that organization.

This involves, transaction documentation images that support line transaction items, data consumption requirements of customers, business partners and relevant internal resources and bookend requirements for management and executives that montitor the overall process.

From a systems perspective, this involves, Web Interfaces, Workflow Applications, Maintenance Applications and Analysis Interfaces.

Analysis Interface

The Analysis Interface component provides a high level view of the activities of the overall workings of the system and changes based upon the transaction content being fed into the system and the Web Interface activities that occur within system, much like the dashboard of a car.

IMAGEION™ POLICY REPORTING
IMAGEION™ POLICY REPORTING
Policy reporting showing document images to transaction processing efficiency whereby missing documentation associated with transaction line items is brought to light for action to be taken in a given period or document classification area such as missing signature documents against a delivery transaction.
IMAGEION™ Executive Dashboard
IMAGEION™ DASHBOARD
Business analysis and periodic view with linkage to low level document workflow using a user driven rule based interface. Transactions at the low level are linked to Image++ document images for support of numbers presented at the summary and detail level.

Executive Dashboard

The Dashboard application provides a web enabled summary of the transaction consolidation and movement activities of the enterprise with the ability to drill down into more specific areas of the business activity for a top and low level view of the ongoing activities. A dynamic display is provided which likens a summary report with the ability to explode the data at a high level down to the origin transactions and actual document images allowing for the result and cause to be displayed in an integrated interface.

The Dashboard is provided in a web interface which bears the likeness of a wide format columnar report, with the added ability of dynamic sorting and filtering for the analytical and management user.

The Dashboard provides a top level window on the workflow activities of the enterprise which changes as the workflow takes place.

Below is a summary of the functionality provided the Dashboard user;

• Sort the summary results via any supported and displayed data criteria as a means to get to the point of view required.
• Establish and execute rules defined by the user which are translated into system query language as a means to further slice through the data and create reporting subsets.
• Follow transactions as they move from one workflow stage to another
• Drill down from a summary line to the detailed transactions which support it and further down to the transaction document images that support the detail
• Divide the information utilizing a financial period calendar specific to the needs of the business enterprise.

The Dashboard application is a constantly changing entity that moves along with the day to day activities of the business so as to provide more than an analysis report but an analytical tool which shows the workflow movement as it occurs.

Policy Reporting

Policy Reporting allows for the management of the enterprise to ensure that there exists a degree of compliance in the system for transaction line items and associated document media as well as the ability to ensure that remote locations in a distributed network comply with the field reporting schedule established. The two items are generally linked in terms of performance with one supporting the other in terms of latency and complience gaps.
