LEGACY PROJECTS

CapeTown Enterprise
Enterprise Commerce Year 2k Edition

The foundation and predecessor to the Art of Commerce™ and Imageion™ platform products, CapeTown Enterprise Commerce provided merchandise management, Image++ document and image management, web content, web access, inventory, sales, retail chain support and retail sales for implementations across year 2000 and other legacy transitions.

The experience and capabilities of our past works were brought to play into a concentrated system offering which provided year 2000 transition, EDI functionality and sales integration capabilities and a platform for future project development.

The CapeTown Enterprise Commerce System became the foundation platform for our Web and Workflow and X-chain Merchandising platforms and systems products, supporting on-line transaction processing in a client/server database environment, distibuted computing and both web and desktop enabled interfaces.

Loyalty Marketing
Dynamic Loyalty Marketing Promotions Management and Redemption

The Loyalty and Marketing Promotions System (LAMP) is a database management system that controls point program and point redemption for an enterprise the required the management of multiple marketing programs or those that manage multiple clients with multiple campaigns.

The premise behind the system is to streamline the point redemption for the customer/consumer so that the process of connecting these people with their rewards is accomplished effectively and easily. The system also provides the enterprise with the ability to define many campaigns and also operate as a third party which supports many businesses with this requirement.

Image Image

Integrating the LAMP System with either a customer service and relationship management centric system such as the Imageionô Web and Workflow system or the Art of Commerceô x-Chain Merchandising Inventory System provides an enterprise with the ability to integrate promotions and marketing campaigns with online and point of presence customer/consumer sales and is the corner-stone of any customer/consumer focused initiative across a franchise or large multi-location enterprise with a common customers message and benefit in response to loyalty and when attempting to achieve it.

Written in C++ and with relational database support for the Microsoft SQL Server platform the system can be integrated into an existing applications environment or a new system such as those mentioned.

The system is ready for an unlimited number of clients, promotions, customer/consumer registrants and users. With web and internet support it can cross geographical locations with ease.

Development and Design

The LAMP System allows multiple loyalty programs to be defined within the context of a Line of Business and Client hierarchy which allows for business integration or segmentation for point programs and redemption. Participants can be defined at any level in a parent and child architecture, allowing participant groups to be created within a multi-client system where a single applications interface is used to manage all promotions regardless of marketing strategy.

New promotions are created and defined with a pre-set architecture at the onset of the promotion and allow for entry of participant entities, downline relationships, points transaction entries in manual or batch transaction import mode which effect the participant and based on definition the upward line relationships.

Point Asignment
Participants each have their own account within a promotion and accumulate and redeem points from these accounts as prescribed by a pre-defined point assignment methodology. This methodology can be defined using a merchandise hierarchy for global assignments or at the discrete item level for more specific assignments and can be based upon dollar value or quantity. Points can also be assigned manually or via upload files for foreign transaction environments, including bonus point assignments. Point Invoice Forms can be printed and keyed into the system using the Invoice keying application for detailed point tracking and accumulation. The advantage of such a system over offline marketing campaigns is the ability to use customer purchase history in the definition of the point assignment methodology.

Statement Generation
Participants have the ability to have statements printed that are cumulative or prior balance forwarded with current activity. Statements can also be produced in group format where all entities that are children of the entity at that level are combined into one redeemable account. All of the reports and statements are definable and customizable, as they were defined in a Crystal Reports environment.

Redemption
Depending upon your redemption strategy, point redemption is managed at the promotion and entity level thus providing for diverse redemption strategies for each promotion and a common participant database. Point redeemed for merchandise can be managed at the tender level within the transaction environment in your CapeTown Enterprise Commerce Platform or managed off-line with redemption values stored within the promotion in order to avoid duplicate redemption.

E-Loyalty Interface
Depending upon your redemption strategy, point redemption is managed at the promotion and entity level thus providing for diverse redemption strategies for each promotion and a common participant database. Through E-Store and E-SALES/E-TRADE interfaces, the customer/consumer can access their promotion information so that they can view their point balances, redeem online through a tender option and perform general maintenance issues such as change of address and other important registrant information.
